I had never listened to Beatles until I watched Across The Universe by Julie Taymor. It's soundtrack as you understand is based on Beatles' masterpieces.

My favoirite ones are Girl, I want to hold your hand, I've just seen a face, While my guitar gently weeps, Across the universe, All you need is love.

Of course not only songs but also characters are great. Especially Jim Sturgess both his performances and appearance. Ok I admit he is so handsome that I just want to listen to him singing Girl, again and again.
By the way I saw the original versions but if you dont get mad, I want to prefer the new ones with a respect for old ones.

Why do I remember this now? Because we're in summer and it's time to eat strawberry, whenever I see them, I remember this film and that picture, strawberries on the wall. And it makes me happy, even though it tells totally a different story.



It's definitely not waste of time.
